Electric guitar

A minimalist electric guitar built from IKEA furniture

The self-taught Belgian amateur cabinetmaker from tchiksguitarswho previously made a guitar from a beautiful Sapele wooden shelf, turned to Scandinavian furniture giant IKEA for the materials for its next musical build. Not only did he use DIY bookshelves, but also a chair, cutting board, and crib to craft a minimalist hollowbody electric guitar that features wooden knobs and a beautiful treble clef design. floor.

I think that sounds good for a guitar made up of shelves, a chair and a cot.

He calls it his “Ultimate IKEA Hack”. And the specific name of the guitar is Vecnå.

The guitar started out as a joke. I remember going upstairs and saying to my wife “I’m going to make a guitar out of Zoé’s old bed”. She looked up at the ceiling and asked me “why”. So I immediately thought “This is the way”. …Why Vecna you ask me? Well why not. I think it fits for some reason.
