Aspyer Taps into Violin and House Mix on STMPD RCRDS Sequel, ‘Aurora’

Aspyer opened 2021 by standing behind one of Martin Garrix’s most requested digital show ids on Tomorrowland’s New Year’s Eve, and he’s now fittingly kicking off the year with his sequel. “Symphony” went on to be the first of seven originals the Russian native has provided to STMPD RCRDS over the past 12 months, with Aspyer bringing the total to eight and celebrating the holiday weekend with “Aurora.”

Inspired by the violin-house communion of his first release of the year, Aspyer aimed to tap into his classical upbringing that came from both his father and his time in high school when he was experimenting with electronic string-based renditions. With Aspyer’s production singularity at the helm once again, “Aurora” builds on the refreshing spirit of “Symphony” through another masterful crossover of sharp violin work and what he calls ‘”elements similar to the music of the 2010s”, a decade in which he rightly considers to be the pinnacle of dance music.
