The special-edition guitar features a classic distressed pure white finish with contrasting black highlights and accents, such as a sleek pick guard and volume gear knob with rubber grip, for precision while playing. The unique PowerHammer PRO humbucking bridge pickup is wired to the CTS volume pot for even greater control when you want to turn it up hard on the chorus or turn it down for the next verse.

Covered die-cast tuners and an adjustable wraparound bridge come with nickel plating, anchored to the mahogany body for a sustain boost, letting your last chord ring out. And a smooth Indian laurel fingerboard with dotted inlays is ready for all skill levels, especially beginners just learning chord formations or adjusting to a 22-fret mahogany neck.

“What drew me to the guitar was just being able to make that kind of noise and have control over it,” Jett says, in a accompanying promotional video for cooperation. “So when we were talking about releasing my new Epiphone Signature guitar, it had to have my sound.”

As well as her recognizable tone, Joan’s trademark is omnipresent in this set, with room to personalize it as your own: the singer’s famous signature features prominently on the included gig bag, while her autograph adorns the back of the doll. You’ll also get stickers to stick on your guitar, amp, case, or anywhere in your setup. “Paint on it, write on it, beat it up or polish it every day,” says Jett. “The goal is to make it your vision and your voice.”

Jett’s incredible career took her from the small punk clubs of Los Angeles leading the Runaways (one of the first all-female rock bands of the time) and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. . She also did rolling stones list of the 100 greatest guitarists in music.

The new Joan Jett Olympic Special Electric Guitar has been released as a limited edition, so fans and collectors will want to get their hands on some before it sells out. The special set retails for $549 and includes the guitar and gig bag. See more at SamAsh.com.
