Jessica Szilagyi is editor of The Georgia Virtue. She primarily focuses on state and local politics, the judiciary, and law enforcement issues. Jessica is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a major in local government. After a brief hiatus from the campaign circuit, Jessica went on to earn her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Georgia. She is now a “Like It Or Not” contributor for Fox5 in Atlanta and a contributor for GeorgiaPol.com. DAVID ROBERTS

Originally from South Florida, David Roberts moved to Georgia as a teenager. He joined the military at age 18 as a psychological operations specialist and served six years in that role. After leaving active duty, Dave served in the Reserve and Guard components. Dave has also worked for Wachovia and SouthTrust Banks as a merchant banker and assistant vice president. A few mergers resulted in Dave joining his brother, Rob, in the HVAC business. Eventually, after several years of learning from his older brother, Dave went off on his own. In 2016 he launched DR COOL Heating and Air in Dallas, GA.

Being a prominent business owner in Paulding County gives Dave the privilege of serving his community while getting involved in politics. Calling himself a “Republican”, Dave was asked to host the podcast Let Me Tell You Why You’re Wrong in 2018.
